Artisans, exporters and handicraft operators in Tonga are to benefit from new knowledge and skills, as well as exposure and interaction with experts in this field under the guidance of an expert in Handicrafts, Christine Delany of New Zealand.
This year 30 female participants from 14 Pacific islands are currently participating in the Community Development Management Programme (CDM) and the Community Development Enterprise (CDE) Programme which is piloted alongside the CDM.
Over fifteen hundred women from most of the Pacific Island countries and territories have graduated from the Secretariat of the Pacific Community’s Community Education Training Centre (CETC),
