SPC’s Community Education Training Centre (CETC) launches Healthy Lifestyle Project The Secretariat of the Pacific Community’s Community Education Training Centre (CETC) will be launching a Healthy Lifestyle project for its training programme on Friday 25th March, 2.30pm at the CETC campus in Narere. This is a joint initiative with the Healthy Pacific Lifestyles Section (HPL), Public Health Division of SPC, aims to introduce a healthy lifestyle among the pacific islanders through the participants of the Community Development Course at the centre.

Seven-month certificate training programme commences The 48th regional training in Applied Community Development Studies began on 15th March at CETC. For the next seven months, 32 female participants from 16 of SPC’s member countries and territories will learn new ideas, strategies and skills in order to reach a professional level. The women are enrolled in the Community Development Management Programme and the Community Development Enterprise Programme. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Captain John Hogan, SPC Director of the Economic Development Division, wished the participants a productive seven months’ training.

SPC’s Community Education Training Centre (CETC) Signs MOU to boost human resource development CETC – The Secretariat of the Pacific Community’s Community Education Training Centre (CETC) will be signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Vanuatu National Training Council (VNTC) to provide accredited courses that Vanuatu training providers including rural training centres can have access to.
