Bananas: SPC is a link for the region with the Asia Pacific Network of the International Network for Bananas and Plantains (INIBAP), for the introduction and evaluation of disease resistant banana lines for major diseases such as Black Leaf Streak.   SPC is providing access for the region to many new banana lines with Black Leaf Streak resistance.
