This booklet compares population trends in the Pacific Region with trends in the rest of the world. It is designed to fit into the social sciences programme of junior secondary schools, and also to provide a briefing for those who need a quick update on the world and Pacific population situation.
It has been distributed widely throughout the Pacific Region, in both English and French editions.
The purpose of this series is to present work-in-progress of pacific Islands professionals and other researchers from the Pacific region, for information, discussion and comments.
