Congratulations to DSAP PNG on resource centre opening
Agriculture
information was brought closer to the farmers, extension
officers, students and teachers of Situm, Morobe Province,
PNG on 26th July 2005 when the first DSAP resource centre
was opened.
The
Situm Agriculture Extension Information Resource Centre
was officially opened by Owai Nuzik, chairman assisting
the Governor and churches representative in the Morobe
Tutumang who represented Morobe Governor, Luther Wenge.
Visitors, villagers, school children and their teachers
flooded the Information Centre to check out the materials
on display. Teachers were very happy that the variety
of information required for children to do their studies
on crops, livestock, soils, etc, finally was available
near school and farmers could not contain their joy
at the availability of agriculture information on their
doorstep.
