Senior Planning Adviser
 Patricia Sachs-Cornish
Patricia joined SPC in July 2008 as Planning Adviser in the Strategic Facility. Previously, she worked with the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat as its Development Cooperation Adviser and prior to that was with the United Nations Development Programme as a Governance Specialist. Patricia has 14 years of work experience in the Pacific in a regional capacity and has been involved in numerous regional processes. She completed her Masters of Applied Finance in Australia and her Bachelor of Arts (Economics/Management) in Fiji Islands.

Planning Adviser
 Caroline Tupoulahi-Fusimalohi
Caroline joined SPC in July 2008, based in Suva Fiji Islands. Before coming the SPC Strategic Facility, Caroline was Adviser to the Tonga Finance Minister and prior to that she was the Director of Planning of the Central Planning Department in the government of Tonga. She has been with the Tonga government for over 15 years and during this time was actively involved in the areas of management, development policy, community and outer island development, aid management and negotiation. Caroline completed a Diploma in Public Sector Management with Massey University, New Zealand, bachelors degree with the Australian National University, Australia (ANU), a master's degree in Demography and a PhD with Flinders University of South Australia.

Planning Adviser
 Olivier Auguin
Olivier has joined SPC in october 2010 as a planning adviser, responsible for designing joint country strategies and monitoring their implementation. He is responsible for a number of the Pacific Community’s island members, including the Francophone members. His role is also to support SPC programmes and corporate planning. Previously, he was a Planning Adviser for Public Policy in New Caledonia. Prior to that, he has worked in France with the French Government for 15 years and has wide experience in planning and coordination at the national level. He is specialized in the organisation in clusters. He has a tertiary degree in business and public sector development of territories and he holds a Master’s in Business Management and Trade.

Senior climate change Advisor
 Brian DAWSON
Brian joined SPC in September 2010 to take up the post of Senior Adviser Climate Change. He has worked for more than 20 years in the international climate change and energy sector development sphere. He has a Masters in economics from the University of Western Australia and a Masters in Environmental Economics and Management from the University of London. Prior to joining SPC Brian was the Climate Change Adviser for the Australian International Development Assistance Agency. He also held the position of Climate Change Adviser for UNDP at New York headquarters dealing with climate change and development issues. He has previously worked in the Pacific region and spent 6 years at the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat managing the Regional Energy Development Programme. He has produced a wide range of papers and publications on energy and climate change issues and most recently Co-Authored the book “The Complete Guide to Climate Change”.

Climate Change Advisor
 Andre Volentras
Andre Volentras joined SPC in October 2011. He was UNDP/GEF Regional Technical Adviser for the Pacific on Climate Change Adaptation and before that SPREP’s Climate Change Coordinator. He has worked around the Pacific for many years providing assistance to Pacific Island Countries in the area of climate change adaptation financing; international negotiation support; and technical/ policy advice related to mainstreaming and project management of climate change interventions. He holds a Masters Degree in International Law from the Australian National University, a BA(Hons) in International Relations and is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Samoa and New South Wales.

Project Manager - GlobalClimate Change Alliance, Small Island States (GCCASIS) Project
 Gillian Cambers
Dr Cambers is a British national and has more than thirty eight years in direct environmental program management and planning experience in the Caribbean Islands and the smaller PICTs. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree with First Class Honors in Geography from the University of Bristol and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of East Anglia. Dr Cambers joined the Secretariat on the 16th January 2012.

Climate Change Adviser – Suva (GCCASIS) Project
 Graham Sem
Dr Sem is a Papua New Guinea national and resided in New Zealand prior to joining SPC. He has been working on climate change issues at the regional and international level for the past fourteen years. Dr Sem holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in Geography from the University of Papua New Guinea, a Master of Arts degree in Geography from the University of Hawaii and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Geography from the University of Auckland. Dr Sem joined the Secretariat on 12th February 2012.

Climate Change Adviser – Pohnpei (GCCA SIS) Project
 Pasha Carruthers
Ms Carruthers is a New Zealand (Cook Islands) national and has more than eleven years of professional experience in climate change. She holds a Bachelors of Arts degree majoring in Archaeology with a Biology minor from Simon Fraser University and a PostGraduate Certificate in Climate Change Vulnerability & Adaptation Assessment from the University of the South Pacific. Ms Carruthers joined the Secretariat on the 25th January 2012 and will be based in Pohnpei.

Project Manager - Enhanced Climate Change Resilience of Food Production Systems (USAID)
 Vuki Buadromo
Vuki Buadromo joined SPC in April 2012 as Project Manager for USAID funded project titled, “Enhanced Climate Change Resilience of Food Production Systems” based in the Strategic Engagement, Policy & Planning Facility. Prior to this, she was with the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat for seven years. Vuki’s professional experience of 14 years includes project management, fund management, coordination and administration of regional technical assistance amongst CROP (Council of Regional Organizations in the Pacific) agencies and PICs (Pacific Island Countries), as well as managing donor relations. Vuki holds tertiary qualifications in Applied Psychology and Sociology from the University of the South Pacific.

Planning Advisor (Monitoring and Evaluation)
 Mei Lin Harley
Mei Lin Harley joined SPC in October 2010 as a Planning Adviser focusing on Monitoring and Evaluation. Previously, she served as a Senior Evaluation Advisor at the New Zealand Ministry of Economic Development where she led evaluations of the effectiveness of government programmes. Prior to that she worked in California, USA as a Senior Development Officer at St. Vincent de Paul Village (a large social service agency serving the homeless and impoverished) where she developed grant proposals to government and private funders. She has also worked as a policy analyst in New Zealand at the Ministry of Education, and in Canada at the Canadian Federation of Independent Business. She has a a Master of Public Administration from Dalhousie University, Canada, and a Master of Arts in Educational Psychology from Auckland University, New Zealand.

Planning Officer
 Alisi Tuqa
Alisi joined in July 2008 the Strategic Facility from the Pacific Islands Telecommunications Association (PITA) where she was the Training & Field Operations Coordinator. Prior to that she was working at the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat as the Research Assistant for Infrastructure Issues, covering civil aviation, information communication technologies, energy and urban management. Alisi brings with her work experience in training, coordination and planning, and research in policy development

Administration and planning assistant
 Christophe Boe
Christophe joined SPC in September 2010. He worked for 14 years as a Deputy Manager for the international tourism promotion and cruise development in New Caledonia. Christophe has also been a financial adviser in Canada for 5 years. He has a D.U.T. (Diplôme en Gestion des Entreprises et Administrations) from the Nice University and Technological Institute, France.

Research and Administrative Assistant
 Sanivalati TUBUNA
Sanivalati joined SPC in November 2011 as a Research and Administrative Assistant in the Strategic Facility. Previously he worked at SOPAC under Corporate Services and as a Part- Time Teaching, Marker & Field Demonstrator at the University of the South Pacific. He also worked as an INTERN at the Delegation of the European Union for the Pacific under Trade/Politics/Media Section and as a Student Assistant at U.S.P Library. He have a BA in Environmental Studies from the U.S.P, Fiji Islands.
