SHORT STORIES FROM SMALL ISLANDS: Tales shared in Palau

This collection of Short stories by seven authors living in Oceania and one by well-known American author, and editor of the collection, Alan Dean Foster, was one of the artistic achivements of the 9th Festival of Pacific Arts, held in Palau in July 2004.
"The 9th Festival of Pacific Arts served as a unique opportunity for Pacific Islanders to share the traditional knowledge and expressions of culture of the 27 countries and territiries taht participated. The Festival also provided artists the opportunity to present new artwork based on their individual visions of Pacific cultures. The stories in Short Stories from Small islands: Tales shared in Palau contributed to the colorfulness of the festival. The book is a wonderful example of what the festival captured from the artists of various cultural backgrounds."
