Welcome to Pasifika Fair Trade, a contingent of ethically minded traders from across the Pacific region.

Under FACT, SPC is working with international fair trade organisations to help Pacific Islander producers:

• Develop a better understanding of fair trade principles and practices.

• Promote and increase trade that is conducted on a fair basis, leading to positive livelihood outcomes.

• Attain other relevant certifications including organic production, food safety, HACCP, and eco-friendly production of timber and non-wood forest products.

Pasifika Fair Trade compliments this work, consolidating and marketing fair trade efforts across the Pacific region. Whilst its development and launch is a FACT project, Pasifika Fair Trade represents a collaborative effort, dynamic organisations and individuals pushing fair trade into fruition.
