Sea cucumbers are in high demand across many markets. Pacific Island fisheries have the potential to capitalise on this demand. The PARDI sea cucumber project is investigating post-handling harvesting knowledge, scoping post-harvest handling problems and will also pinpoint future industry research and development requirements to boost industry capacity.
