Name Annual Number of Tourists
Definition Numbers of tourists are referred to as international overnight visitors who travel to a country which is not their usual residence, for a period not exceeding 12 months and the purpose for their visit not related to undertaking any economic activity in the country visited.

Limitations Using the number of visitors in the absence of tourist numbers since this would include, other than tourists, same-day visitors, cruise-ship passengers, and crew members.
Purpose/Rationale Relates to tourism earnings from trade in services (Used in the calculation of tourism earnings)
