DESCRIBED FRUIT
FLY SPECIES
IN VANUATU
This table lists
described fruit fly species recorded in Vanuatu, based on surveys carried out
since 1994. These distribution records shown on the table have been
published in Drew and Romig (2001)1. They have recorded
12 species, including three new species described in the paper. Names
of new species described in the article are highlighted on table. The
distribution compilation per province is by no means definitive and should not
be necessarily used as a basis for decisions on restriction of produce
movements.
