Produced by the Demography/Population Programme with the financial assistance of AusAID and published by the Secretariat of the Pacific Community, Noumea. Available in English and French.

The poster includes 2004 mid-year population estimates for the 22 Pacific Island countries and territories, together with the most recent demographic and population indicators for the region (e.g. total fertility rate, infant mortality rate, life expectancy at birth, etc.).

Inform'ACTION is the bilingual bulletin of the Pacific Public Health Surveillance Network (PPHSN) produced by the Public Health Surveillance & Communicable Disease Control Section of the Secretariat of the Pacific Community (SPC). It contains news and information about public health surveillance activities in the Pacific Island Countries and Territories. The first priorities of the PPHSN are communicable diseases, especially the outbreak-prone ones.
