Monograph on 

Public Health Surveillance in the Pacific

This publication relates the background on which the Pacific Public Health Surveillance Network (PPHSN) was established. The authors are health professionnals working within international or regional organisations, local health administrations and universities. All of them —epidemiologist, statistician or demograph— wrote sharp and constructive reports on public health surveillance activities in the Pacific Islands and listed some interesting proposals for a common regional framework.
