South Pacific epidemiological and health information services (SPEHIS) were provided by the PHS&CDC section in the format of annual reports (since 1974) and monthly reports (since 1990). You will find the reports below.
With the creation of the Pacific Public Health Surveillance Network (PPHSN) in 1996 and the role our section played in the development of the network, the routine SPEHIS data collection did temporarily not stand among the top priorities, and was stopped.
For continuity purposes, we are planning to resume the data collection retrospectively as from 2000 (SPEHIS has collected data until 1999).
