This set of fact sheets has been originally produced by UNICEF in collaboration with WHO, SPC and Japan Government. They are inserted in the 28th edition of Inform'ACTION (as supplements) to widen their dissemination in the region.

The five fact sheets can be used as is or adapted by Pacific Island countries and territories to raise awareness about avian influenza and pandemic influenza among different target groups: policy-makers, health professionals, community, etc.
