[Avian influenza] [Influenza] [Influenza A(H1N1)]

The Influenza vaccine

With regards to which vaccine composition to use (Southern or Northern hemisphere winter) for those residing in the tropical regions, it depends very much on the local epidemiological situation and the approved vaccine procurement channels. Advisory assistance is available through the PPHSN: mailto:phs.cdc@spc.int or who.sp@wpro.who.int.

Updated epidemiological and vaccine information from WHO can be respectively accessed at: http://www.who.int/flunet (FluNet) and http://www.who.int/csr/disease/influenza/vaccinerecommendations/en/
