Twenty-two Pacific Island countries and territories were
involved in the development of the Pacific Islands Regional Ocean
policy and have agreed to work together to implement it through the
Pacific Islands Regional Ocean Framework for Integrated Strategic
Action.
They
include: American Samoa, Cook
Islands, Federated States
of Micronesia, French Polynesia, Guam, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Nauru, New Caledonia, Niue, Northern Mariana
Islands, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Pitcairn Islands, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tokelau, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, and Wallis and Futuna.
