Forest pests in the South Pacific

A review of forest pests in the South Pacific
Major insect pests and fungal diseases of plantation forests in the Asia Pacific region are the focus of this review. These have been considered in the light of their potential threat to the plantations of the region, given the increase in inter and intra-island traffic of living plant material, timber and timber products. For each species, information is provided on their distribution, type of damage and known economic importance.
