Three statisticians from Nauru, Kiribati and Federated States of Micronesia are currently on
a 4 weeks attachment at SPC, Noumea with the Statistics and Demography Programme (SDP). This attachment is
part of the on-going technical assistance provided by the SDP to its stakeholders aimed at enhancing analysis
and reporting skills for the statisticians. The statisticians will be undertaking ‘analysis and reporting’ on
their latest Household Income and Expenditure Survey (HIES), with assistance provided by two SDP staff.
The outcomes/results from this attachment will be posted on the PRISM website once they get approved by the respective countries.

Marshall islands - Demographic and Health Survey (DHS) - Progress Report
Enumeration process is now fully completed with the arrival of the Enewetak Team on the 7th of June 2007. All forms have been secured and are with EPPSO now.Cook Islands
Cook Islands total population as enumerated on 1 December 2006, stood at 19,569 people, an increase of 8.6 percent compared to the last census count conducted in 2001. There were 9,932 men and 9,637 women.Tokelau

The Solomon islands Statistics Office (SISO) has currently released the final reports on the 2005/06 Household Income and Expenditure Survey (HIES) jointly funded by Ausaid and New Zealand Government. The report features results both at national and provincial level.Tuvalu
