Palau is a participating country in the International Monetary Fund (IMF) General Data Dissemination System (GDDS) Project. This is a new statistical capacity building initiative of the IMF, which draws on the GDDS framework to improve statistics of member countries. It promotes collaboration with other bilateral, regional and multilateral agencies, and is funded, in part, by Japan and the United Kingdom.
