    Staff Personal details and brief description of responsibilities
    Mathew Chigiyal
    Assistant Director for Statistics

    Mr. Chigiyal became the head of the Unit recently in November 2007. He was previously the manager of the statistics section of the FSM National Oceanic Resource Management Authority (NORMA).
      Stoney Taulung
    Deputy Assistant Director

    Mr. Stoney became the head of the Unit recently in December 2005. He was previously the manager for the Kosrae Statistics Office branch.
    Santus Talugmai
    National Accounts Statistician

    Santus began working for the Unit in 1994.  He is tasked with the compilation of the National Accounts. He is from the Ifalik, an outer island of Yap State.
    William Haglelgam
    CPI Statistician

    William joined the Unit in November 2005.  He is tasked with the compilation and publication of the Consumer Price Index. He is a native of Yap state but has been residing in Pohnpei for almost 20 years.
    Mihna M. Kilafwakun
    Statistics Specialist I

    She's been with the Unit since 1985, the longest serving staff. She is responsible for the compilation of Imports statistics. She is a native of Pohnpei and married with 3 lovely girls.
    Itorie Amond
    Statistics Specialist II

    Itorie started working for the Unit as a contract worker for the Chuuk census in 1989, and has been with the Division ever since. Her main responsibilities include compilation of the yearbook and the International Visitor Arrival publications. She is a native of Chuuk but had been residing in Pohnpei for over 10 years.
    Brihmer Johnson
    Statistics Specialist III

    Brihmer joined the Unit as a contract worker for the 1994 FSM census and has been with the Division ever since. Her main responsibilities include compilation of the yearbook and maintaining the division's website. She is from Pohnpei.

    Christina joined the office in May 2007. She is responsible for all administrative tasks in the unit. She is Pohnpeian and Kosraean.
