About EPPSO
Objective and Organisation of EPPSO
The Economic Policy, Planning and Statistics Office (EPPSO) is established to act as an advisory body to the government of the day on matters of the economy of the Marshall Islands, and has the responsibility for the development of sound economic policies and strategic planning, based on amongst other factors, the analysis of statistical data representing the various subject matters in the area of government operations and of the communities in the Republic.
The EPPSO shall be directly responsible to the Office of the President and shall be headed by a Director, who shall be appointed by the Public Service Commission.
The EPPSO shall comprise of:
- Policy and Strategy Development Unit
- Statistics and Analysis Unit
- Performance Monitoring, Evaluation and Aid Coordination Uint
