CONSUMER PRICE INDEX - 1ST QUARTER 2009
There was a decline of (6.32%) during the first quarter of 2009, so over the last two quarters there has been a decline of 15.12% in the CPI. Current price levels are comparable to the 1st quarter of 08, just before the RMI was hit by extreme increases for food and fuel prices. Over the last four quarters the CPI has increased by 7.21%, but this has involved very large positive and negative movements in prices each of these quarters..

The RMI population Atlas has been created to meet a demand by the Marshall Islands Government for more readily accessible and understandable socio-demographic information, at both atoll and village/islet levels. Population andand housing censuses are usually the main data source for such information in Pacific island countries and results from the most recent Marshall Islands census (1999) were the main source of information for this atlas.

This is the first MDG report for the RMI produced between the Economic Policy, Planning and Statistics Office and the RMI United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Office. It provides an assessment on the status of the Marshall Islands in addressing the goals and intensions of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).

The RMI EPPSO produces CPI on a quarterly basis. As part of its expansion plans, reports on other areas of statistics will be made available through this website on a quarterly basis as well.
These are reports published either by the EPPSO or other departments and agencies. This list will expand as more reports become available
These reports comprise of quarterly minitoring of key Ministries and financial statements on government's regular operation.
A number of surveys have been conducted by the RMI EPPSO. At the time of developing this website, only a few reports from these surveys were available. Other reports will be included once they become available.
Reports on previous censuses are available except for the latest census (1999). The report will be split into main chapters due to file size for fast downloading.
