official release of 2009 census household listing counts
The Census 2009 Preliminary Counts show that since the last Census in 1999 the population of Vanuatu has grown by 2.8% a year, with the urban centers of Port Vila and Luganville increasing by 4.1% a year with the highest annual growth rates in Port Vila at 4.7%.
VANUATU MICS FINAL REPORT - 2007
The Vanuatu Government through the Ministry of Health has recently released the final report on the Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey conducted by the Ministry of Health.
VANUATU GDP ESTIMATES - 2007
Currently released by the National Statistics Office showed, GDP growth in real terms in 2007 was 6.8%, falling below the 7.4 %, the revised growth for 2006.

Visitor Arrivals - April 2009 The total Visitor arrival for April 2009 was 7,488. This is an increase of 21.3% over the same month previous year. |
International Trade - Sept 2008 Domestic exports (excluding Re-exports) for September increased by 58.3% compared to September 2007. |
Consumer Price Index (CPI)
Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose 3.6 % and 1.6 % over the March quarter 2007 and the previous quarter respectively.
International Trade
Vanuatu’s trade deficit (including re-exports) stood at 5,401 million vatu, 1,698 million vatu less than the corresponding quarter of 2007.
Visitor Arrivals
Tourist arrivals totalled to 17,518 showing an increase of 6.3% over the March quarter of the previous year.
2007 Accommodation Survey
The annualised room occupancy rate in 2007 was 58% and bed occupancy rate was 44%.
