PRISM began as a project to empower SPC member states by providing them with the equipment and skills to publish statistical indicators and information on their own website.
Prior to the PRISM project, most Pacific National Statistics Offices (NSOs) did not have a website and now all member states have a website that they own, manage and update independently. The national websites include:
• Key statistical indicators such as population and gross domestic product
• Documentation such as census reports, and domestic health surveys
• Statistical summaries, reports, concepts and definitions.
