COP 27 SIDE EVENT: Launch of the Framework for Energy Security and Resilience in the Pacific (FESRIP) as a Pacific response to the climate change emergency

Climate change has emerged as the greatest threat to the health of the Blue Pacific, as highlighted by the present global energy crisis. This side event will launch the Framework for Energy Security and Resilience in the Pacific (FESRIP) 2021-2030 as a commitment by Pacific Island Countries and Territories to transform their energy sector from fossil fuel-based to clean, reliable and affordable renewable energy.
