The overall objective of the technical assistance (TA) mission is to improve the availability and quality of education statistics, especially in the collection, processing, verification, and analysis of education data. This objective is consistent with the Key Result Area 1.1 of the 2023-2026 EQAP Business Plan which states that Ministries implement and maintain education management information systems.
- SDG 4 Questionnaires- To support the department of education in addressing data gaps in the new SDG 4 dynamic template and in conducting relevant training.
- Validation of IT- Review country IT challenges and discuss ways to improve data quality. This includes discussions on issues around data collection, data access and data analysis which involves the review of the implementation of recommendations in the data quality assessment framework.
- PacREF Indicators- To support the department of Education in monitoring PacREF indicators that are to be incorporated in the national statistical reports.
