The four-day training will build participants' capacity to collect, process, verify, analyse and report education data. These skills will help the ministry to prepare its national statistical education reports, and to meet its reporting obligations to the Pacific Regional Education Framework (PacREF) and the UNESCO Institute of Statistics. This work aligns with EQAP's objective of increasing the use of information for policy development and implementation. It will also boost the region's efforts to improve their respective Education Management Information Systems. Most Pacific island countries now manage their own EMIS system. However, a few countries are still unable to produce accessible, complete or timely education statistics for reporting to UIS. Significant improvement was noted since the last training in 2019.    Pacific Community (SPC) [email protected] UTC public
