Pacific Islands Literacy and Numeracy Assessment – PNG Main Study

​The Pacific Islands Literacy and Numeracy Assessment (PILNA) has completed four assessment cycles, with the fifth main study scheduled to begin in September 2025 across fifteen Pacific Island countries. PILNA collects evidence on how Year 4 and Year 6 students have achieved the regional benchmarks in reading, writing, and numeracy. Data gathered from the PILNA Main Study will be used to report on country-level performance in reading, writing, and numeracy.
