The education country mission is a critical component of EQAP’s work in building relationships on education matters with countries and fostering regional cooperation whilst supporting educational development in the region.
It helps to broaden the understanding of educational priorities and challenges faced by countries in the region and help determine areas where we can offer support or collaboration.
Objectives
- Needs Assessment: To conduct a comprehensive needs assessment of member countries to identify key challenges, gaps, and opportunities in the education sector.
- Policy Support: To provide policy support and recommendations to member countries for the development and implementation of effective education strategies and programs.
- Capacity Building: To strengthen the capacity of education stakeholders, including teachers, school administrators, and policymakers, through training programs, workshops, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Partnerships: To facilitate partnerships and collaboration between member countries, regional and international organizations, and donors to leverage resources, expertise, and best practices in education.
