A working group of 28 participants (two for each of the 14 subject areas) are meeting this week to review the SPFSC curriculum.
The scope of work includes the review and revision of the subject content, in terms of strands and sub-strands, as well as the unpacking of learning outcomes. The latter is geared toward including more higher order learning skills (SOLO Level 3 and Level 4).
In addition to the reviewed scope of content and learning outcomes, this week's efforts will produce an updated assessment blueprint, Internal Assessment tasks (with probe analysis and scoring rubrics), a revised list of recommended texts, as well as a probe analysis for mock examination.
