This training on the development of qualifications and approval processes responds to a request from requests from the University of the South Pacific's TAFE programme. As the education arm of SPC, the Educational Quality and Assessment Programme (EQAP) is mandated to support member countries in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the quality of higher education in the region. EQAP is committed to this support role, which includes supporting education institutions in the delivery and design of their qualifications. Its partnership with USP, a CROP agency that also plays a significant role in the implementation of the Pacific Regional Education Framework (PacREF), grown in recent years. The most recent collaboration was the accreditation of USP TAFE to deliver the regional fisheries micro-qualifications. This training is expected to further strengthen EQAP's partnership with USP.
