Add to Calendar 2020-11-28 01:53:06 2020-11-28 01:53:06 Vanuatu Country Programming SPC will be in Port Vila in the week of 9th March, 2020, to work with country counterparts in a number of sectors to define activities under the SPC/Vanuatu Country Program. The Vanuatu Country Program is an agreed program of focused actions under a set of priorities that Vanuatu has identified as requiring some additional focus and technical assistance from SPC. For Vanuatu these are the areas of Water, Oceans, and the productive sector (primarily agriculture), and are aligned to Vanuatu’s national priorities under its current National Sustainable Development Plan. The SPC Divisions whose technical services have been tagged in this Country Program action next week are the Land Resources Division (LRD), Geoscience, Energy and Maritime (GEM) Division. The Strategy, Planning, and Learning (SPL) team of the Director General’s office will take the lead on the coordination and updating of the Vanuatu Country Program, while also supporting the theory of change and the monitoring and evaluation plan for the results framework. Additionally, the SPL team will take the opportunity to convene a meeting of monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) practitioners, to work closely with these counterparts to discuss the support towards a formalization of a national network, and to engage also key counterparts participating in the development of SPC’s next Strategic Development Plan 2021+, currently being developed with SPL’s lead.   For more information, please contact Dean Solofa at [email protected] Vanuatu Pacific Community (SPC) [email protected] UTC public
