The last year has again proven that the Pacific is one of the most disaster-prone regions in the world, facing tropical cyclones, earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, health crises and drought. The World Risk Index 2020 ranks Vanuatu as the most at-risk country globally with an index of 49.74.
The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) will work with partners in the region to continue to deepen the collective impact approach to climate, using the theory of change developed with partners through the IFRC - hosted Pacific Climate Hub.
