The capital of Federated States of Micronesia (FSM), Pohnpei, is the location of SPC’s Micronesia Regional Office. It is headed by our Regional Director, Micronesia.
From this office we manage country programming and regular dialogue with our northern-most members: Guam, FSM, Northern Mariana Islands, Palau and Republic of Marshall Islands.
A major initiative we implement in the north Pacific is the European Union-funded North Pacific Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency project. Known as North-REP, this project is working to reduce dependency on fossils fuels by promoting the uptake of clean energy.
