Aude is Acting Director of the CCES Programme and SPC’s Environmental Sustainability Coordinator.
A national of France, Aude has more than 18 years of extensive experience in environmental sustainability management and programming at national and sub-regional levels, focused on natural resources and social development in the Pacific.
She joined SPC in 2008 where she held various positions in project monitoring and management. Some of the hallmarks of her achievements include the successful rolling out of SPC’s Environmental Management System, the elaboration and subsequent adoption of an Social and environmental Responsibility (SER) policy, and the effective coordination of internal awareness campaigns on green best practices.
Currently coordinating the implementation of SPC’s SER Policy, she is collaborating with all SPC’s divisions to ensure programmes meet social and environmental performance standards and align with internationally recognized improved development practice. She also coordinates the work of a multidisciplinary team of experts which provides support to SPC staff and partners to foster climate and environmentally responsibility.
Aude started her career in the Pacific region in 2003 as a project manager for the Foundation of the Peoples of the South Pacific in Kiribati and held various positions in the environmental sector as project manager in Micronesia (Kiribati , Marshall Islands), Melanesia (Fiji, New Caledonia) and Polynesia (Wallis and Futuna).
Aude holds a Master of Science degree in Environmental Water Management from Cranfield University (United Kingdom) and an engineering diploma in biology from the EBI School of Biology (France).
