Craig Nightingale was appointed as Director of Finance at the Pacific Community (SPC), effective 26 July 2025, located at SPC’s Headquarters in Noumea, New Caledonia.
Craig brings more than 25 years of senior leadership experience in finance and operations across the development, donor, and commercial sectors. His career spans diverse international contexts, where he has led financial strategy, overseen complex budgeting and donor funding portfolios, and implemented organisation-wide reforms to enhance financial governance and system efficiency.
He joins SPC from Alinea International, where he has been the Operations Manager for the Australian Humanitarian Partnership, managing a diverse humanitarian funding portfolio on behalf of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). He holds a Master’s degree in Development Finance and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies. He is a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
