Charming coconut report among new publications

Noumea

The Publishing Team has released the latest publications for May – June 2020. Among this diverse range is a beautifully designed report from PROTEGE in French, which highlights initiatives that came out of the Regional Coconut Sector Workshop, held in French Polynesia in November 2019.

GEM Division’s contribution to the Pacific Resilience Partnership is the Framework for Resilient Development in the Pacific: Monitoring and Evaluation Strategy. Look out for their forthcoming companion report, Framework for Resilient Development in the Pacific: Monitoring and Evaluation Needs Assessment.

We feature a publication that will also interest lay readers—the QGIS for Census and Survey Mapping Training Manual from SDD. QGIS is a free, open source geographic information system software. The statisticians have been busy developing an adapted version of this manual, which will soon be co-published with UNFPA.

Another major publishing project has been the new suite of bilingual SPC Staff Regulations and Manual of Staff Policies, from Human Resources, which came into effect on 1 July 2020.
