Fisheries Story: 792 biological samples sent to SPC to monitor the tuna stocks in the region

Allan, a Filipino observer, just landed last week in General Santos after few months onboard a vessel: 132 individual fish were examined, from which he collected a total of 792 biological samples! These samples will be sent to SPC to determine the age, sex, diet and reproductive status of those fish. This will help SPC to monitor the tuna stocks in the Pacific region.
