Buildings that are well adapted to the local climate and built with a view to environmental quality will be more comfortable and respectful of the environment but above all, energy efficient. They can help reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the Pacific region and improve energy security.

To achieve the Paris Agreement climate goals and limit global warming to 1.5°C through to 2100, greener energy strategies for all buildings can make a difference.
