Super corals are corals that demonstrate the ability to withstand, adapt, recover and continue to reproduce stressors such as ocean warming and ocean acidification.
Coral reef systems only make up around 1% of the earths surface but they are home to approximately 25% of all marine life.
Some examples of Super Coral are several Acropora species like elkhorn coral (Acropora palmata), and two Pocillopora species.
