Implementing OAI-PMH

The SPC Digital Library exposes its metadata through the OAI‑PMH 2.0 protocol, allowing external systems to harvest records in a standardized and automated way. By implementing this protocol, the platform supports interoperable access to its collections, enabling repositories, research infrastructures, and digital library aggregators to retrieve sets, identifiers, and full metadata records directly from the service. Digital Library API

The SPC Digital Library also provides a dedicated Search API that allows applications and information systems to query its collections programmatically and retrieve structured metadata about documents. This API supports both simple keyword searches and advanced field‑specific queries, returning results in JSON so they can be easily integrated into external platforms, dashboards, or automated workflows. • Documents can be searched through scripts using Search API

• Documents for a specific collection and/or country can be extracted with GetCollectionDocumentsForCountry

• Events and associated presentation slots & documents can be accessed with GetEvents
