Did you know that by 2050, an additional 7 million people are expected to live in the Pacific, an increase of almost 60%, which results in almost 20 million people? To face Pacific challenges, trusted economic and social data are essential to guide planning and policy formulation that help improve Pacific people’s lives. The SPC's Statistics for Development Division (SDD)’s provides technical assistance to help Pacific statistics systems produce core social and economic statistics.
