Adam McWilliams was appointed as the Director of Information Services at the Pacific Community (SPC) on 13 November 2023 and is stationed at SPC’s Headquarters in Noumea, New Caledonia.
Adam McWilliams is a leader in the digital technology space, an important area of increasing significance for the realisation of a prosperous Blue Pacific region. He has a strong track record of successfully leading organisations and technology teams through digital reform and change programmes, and creating digital solutions that support the delivery of effective development outcomes.
He has extensive experience in information technology across private, tertiary, public, development and inter-governmental sectors and previously served the Pacific region at SPC as Deputy Chief Executive, Digital and Information. Adam is a US citizen, he holds a Master of Business Administration from the Quantic School of Business and Technology, Washington and joins us from his former role as Deputy Chief Executive of Te Wānanga o Aotearoa.
