Coral Pasisi is SPC's Director of Climate Change and Sustainability since 2022.
Coral Pasisi aims to contribute positively to the sustainable development, resilience, and security of Pacific Island Countries and Territories based on respect for their aspirations and cultural integrity. She has over 20 years of experience in regional and international policy, and multilateral agreements and arrangements pertaining to sustainable development, climate change and climate change financing.
She is a strong supporter of the wholistic and transcending values of resilient sustainable ocean development, management and conservation for the Pacific region and globally.
She believes strongly in the principles of intergenerational equity and responsibility and the strength and exemplary role of the Pacific region in this space. She hails from Niue by birth and heritage and is a proud daughter of Pasifika.
