FAME and GEM steam ahead with new publications

Noumea

The Publishing Team has just released the latest publications for March – April 2020, with Fisheries Aquaculture and Marine Ecosystems (FAME), and Geoscience, Energy and Maritime Division (GEM) continuing to steam ahead with their new publications.

Among the publications is FAME’s renowned Beche-de-mer information bulletin, a national strategy on aquatic biosecurity for the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) and a review of the stocks, management and trade of trochus in the Pacific. From GEM we have a groundwater investigation report from Kiribati and a safety of navigation risk assessment for Luganville harbour in Vanuatu. Our Regional Rights Resource Team (RRRT) colleagues have published a scoping report for FSM on the feasibility of a Paris Principles-compliant national human rights institution. In French, we have a report on PROTEGE’s regional workshop on coastal fishing and aquaculture held in Wallis and Futuna in November 2019.
