Ocean Science Fact: Did you know majority of volcanoes and earthquake occurrence is along the Ring of Fire?

Ring of Fire in the Pacific ocean, also referred as "Circum-Pacific Belt", that is a path along the Pacific Ocean. This belt has many volcanoes and the major site of earthquakes. Around 90% of all earthquakes occur along this belt and about 75% of the volcanoes along the belt are active.
